PROXIMITY READERS
These are devices designed to transmit low-level radio frequency (RF) to the card. When the card is held a level distance from the reader, it absorbs the RF signals by use of some coil inside the card. This powers up the cards, and it consequently sends the unique identification code to the reader. Upon approval by the reader the gate automatically opens. The password will also be needed when removing or adding a number to those already enlisted in the opener, or when changing the password. WIRELESS GATE OPENERS
You can also have a wireless gate opening system; either by use of a remote or an app. you press a key on the remote and the signal is transmitted to the opening system, upon which the gate opens.
